I had quite a bit of fun taking this quite a bit further. For a while now I had been intending to use google calendar (or some such ical tool) to help me with the annual family year calendar project (I prepopulate it with all sorts of dates and the ical tools allow one to overlay the calendars so nicely).

But google calendar did not offer quite enough customisation options. Then I found this post. thanks!!!.… and it gave me the idea and I got a bit carried away.…

Anyway if you have not yet done your christmas shopping and do have some of your photo’s that are halfway decent lying around, you could have a go at a flickr / google calendar mashup perhaps — using my script over at:

My calendar is no longer showing up and just says “loading…” on my page (crossfadedbacon.com). It was working several days ago and as far as I know, I didn’t change anything on my end. Any advice?

Never mind, I was able to remove the "Google Logo" and "Title." Saw it posted previously on this site, thanks.

In IE6.0 can you tell me how to get rid of the “Google Logo” and “Calendar Title?” They both show up above the calendar and are cutting off the bottom section of the calendar. I just need to remove them both. Is there a way?

Unfortunately it seems Google calendar broke something in the last few months — I get a “Loading” image where the calendar should be and it just hangs. I have no problem embedded my calendar without the script so it isn’t Google hanging.

I’m having the same issue as those above…in IE6 and IE7, I get hung up on “Loading” in the month navigation. Things are hunky-dory in Firefox and Safari. I have to be able to navigate since my client really doesn’t have many events in any given month! Any ideas on a fix for this yet?

Tim, Please see my post How To Install MyGoogleCal.php Steve, I was able to load the title of the calendar, but like you I saw no events. I would first check to see if the events are individually set to private.

Are there step by step directions to edit and save files? I need to know where to put the files after I edit them. There seems to be no change after I edit the files or I get a blank page.

I am experiencing one strange problem. Namely, I’m trying to publish one of Google’s public calendars and it won’t show up. The only thing I can see is that their source address is a different format than any other I’ve seen. Here it is: src=p%23weather%40group.v.calendar.google.com . Any clues why this might not be working?

Finding time this week to work on the bug has been a bit tough. So all I can say is stay tuned.

To hide all the tabs, set the query string variable showTabs=0. Hiding just the Agenda tab is a bit more complicated, and I have yet to try it. From a cursory look of the HTML using Firebug, the Agenda tab has no ID attribute for easy selection. The tab itself appears to be a element. It is contained in a nested table inside a tag with the ID, “calendarTabs1”. So if you can use the various CSS or DOM selectors (e.g. last-child) to isolate that tag, then you can set the display style to none. Another possibility is to set the display style to none for the last-tab class. It’ll probably leave a space, but it should remove the three

s inside the tab and achieve the desired effect.
